Day 51; a ratty drawing

Sometimes I write a bit. I'm better at making up places and people than an actual story so I'm not sure my writing will ever become a book, but it's fun to fiddle with my very own reality. It's a fantasy story set in a world that is quite detailed but sadly also quite uneventful. This is a quick sketch of a person who's not even a character. She lives in a huge city in the middle of a vast desert. Her kind is the result of some crazy magic shit. They live alongside humans but are as despised as furries are in our world. 

So yes, she's part rat, and I'm not a furry. I was thinking about not including the rat people in my not-really-a-story but I decided that fuck it, I want rat people. It's my story. I'm not a furry.

Inspired by the last drawing I made this quickie. Fun to draw.

Day 38; troll babe

Starting to become friends with the new brush pen! Very happy with this. As soon as I get my scanner and my drawing pad I'll clean it up in ps and maybe even try to color it?

It's very influenced by an amazing artist called Amanda Lafrenais. I adore her work and when I get some kind of money I will donate it to her webcomic Love Me Nice.

I don't know if the girl in the drawing is actually a troll but I think she looks like she might be. She's got the 'tude yeah?

Day 37; a drawing, slightly less crappy

Contrary to what it looks like this actually took me a couple of days to finish. Redrew a lot of it. I'm happy with the t-shirt and okay with the face.

Playing around. It's bad but at least it's a finished thing.

Yyyyup. For some reason some of the pics show up straight and some don't. In the future when I get my scanner back I'm going to scan pics instead of taking crappy photos of them with my telephone.

Day... 29? A pub portrait

I made this last night, not the 29th day at all, but, well, you know. Eh.

It's a portrait of a new acquaintance, it's not very good because wine. I gave it to her and she seemed pleased.

Day 26; a portrait

Yesterday I did not manage to make anything at all. I slept until seven in the evening. I felt like shit.

Today I've been sleeping a whole lot as well and I still feel pretty horrible but a little bit better maybe.

I did a quick portrait of my wonderful hostess.

I fell asleep and slept all through the evening and now it's really late but I drew a bunch of stuff that I was really unhappy with and then finally a not very great but good enough selfie.
